Description

Morton's Overlook in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The overlook is right before Newfound Gap, where the park was dedicated in the 30's, and also a key spot along the TN/NC boundary. It was a very, very cold day when I took this shot, as evidenced by all the snow, although it hasn't quite made its way down into the valley yet. Taken in December 2010.
