Mountain Coyote

That's not a fox; it's a coyote. We have only two species of fox here in the eastern US, the red and the grey. Reds are, well, red(or orangish red), though on rare occasions we get the black phase, and greys are dark gray with red, and are smaller than the average house cat-think Chihuahua with a nice fur coat and bushy tail. Coyotes are as common as flies on a dead horse in the Smokey Mtns.
